Vintage Handbags
We always look for vintage purses, clutches, handbags from the 1920's through the 1980's. Most of the vintage handbags, shoulder bags, and clutches are made in America during the golden period of handbag designs .From 1940's to 1970's.There are many handbag companies which are setting up showrooms in New York city caring by the big departmental market like Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Bonwit Teller, and many more. When the 1980's ended, the business of the handbag makers in New York City, Philadelphia, and elsewhere also ended. These factories were no longer able to compete with very cheap overseas labor as the handbags were produced on a large scale with concern for using high quality materials, beautiful silk linings, and good design details.
